Objectives

Deliver an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and innovative training programme to provide DCs with the competences needed to reach their research objectives and boost their employability. Promote & guarantee equal opportunities during recruitment processes and across training. Create a best practice model for improving EU doctoral training programmes.

Task 6.1 Advertisement of 14 positions and recruitment of DCs, Recruitment strategy.

Task 6.2 Co-supervision, mentoring arrangements and coordination of appropriate secondments

Interdisciplinary, international and intersectoral supervision is planned. Supervision and coordination meetings will be organized every 3 months. Secondments will be arranged by the host institutes and the beneficiaries with possible adjustments, if needed

Task 6.3 Validation, compilation and follow-up of each DC’s CDP and DTP and monitoring of DC well-being

Career Development Plan (CDP) - supervisors will work with each researcher to create a personalized CDP outlining her/his career goals and the training needed to achieve them; 2) Doctoral Training Programme (DTP) - the DC- Supervisory Team (DC-ST) will coordinate an innovative DTP that complements her/his CDP. This program will provide DCs with a well-rounded training experience; 3) Oversight and Reporting - the PRTC will oversee the implementation of the DTP and CDP. DC-ST will submit quarterly progress reports to the PRTC, with more detailed reports provided biannually. DC-ST will also monitor the well-being of the DCs proposing some adjustment in the work activities when needed

Task 6.4 Organization of the lecture courses training

Provide DCs with a common, adequate fundamentals and innovative research & technological, soft and transferable skills by means of lecture courses

Task 6.5 Organization of the DC powered training

Provide DCs with a series of result presentation events designed to enrich their research and technological skills. These events will also enhance their transferable communication skills.

Task 6.6 Organization of the Network powered training

Provide DCs with a set of management and networking skills by means of active participation to the Network powered activities

Task 6.7 Monitoring of the efficiency and quality of the doctoral training programme

Dedicated discussions with UCA at each DC-ST meeting. Satisfaction e-questionnaires, available on the GreenFieldData communication platform filled by all DCs after each training event. Bi-annual analyses of satisfaction results by the UCA to identify weak and strong points of the training programme. If needed, adjustments proposed by UCA to support continuous improvement throughout GreenFieldData

Task 6.8 Sustainability of the doctoral training programme

UCA will organize annual meetings with the PRTC to develop and monitor the actions defined for the sustainability of the doctoral training program.
